Mapping the (green) landscape – GOAL’s first report is online

The first thing you must do if you want to change a landscape is to map it. Only by mapping it, it is possible to know the landscape and find what can be done to improve it. As GOAL wants to unlock the green Open Access potential, in the first phase of the project the team has produced a representative overview of the publication output of universities of applied sciences and universities of teachers’ education.

The first GOAL report describes the picture for the period 2017 -2021.

It merges the data from the OA-EASI project for the period 2017 – 2019 with publication data for the years 2020 – 2021 kindly delivered by different institutions.

In the spirit of Open Science, we make the first results of this work available to all in our Zenodo community: GOAL – Unlocking the Green Open Access potentiaL in scholarly and professional journals in Switzerland | Zenodo

In our GOAL-Zenodo community you will find both the first report and the underlying data. The report is written in German, but French and English versions will follow soon. Have a good read!
