Taking Green Open Access steps to close the gap – Webinar 25th of May (Thursday) at 4 p.m.

Thanks to the expansion and development of Open Access during the last twenty years the way we publish and the way we access information has changed substantially. Open Access is no longer a mere dream but a reality.

And yet, there is still much that can be done. The world of professional and practice-oriented journals, a large field in its own right and of great importance to universities of applied sciences and of teacher education, has not been in the focus of Open Access strategies yet.

Thanks to the organizational support of swissuniversities the coming 25th of May at 4 p. m., the GOAL project will discuss the impact of professional and practice-oriented journals to academic publishing and present the current lines of development of the project.

The GOAL project, by advancing Green Open Access, can decisively contribute to make this kind of publications and their stakeholders more visible in the world of academic publishing. Green Open Access is a sustainable solution for all involved actors.

If you want to know more and to friendly discussion about the present and future of Green Open Access, you are very much welcome to register and participate. The attendance is free of cost.
